NGE has shown that the Kelly Creek Project exhibits very high concentrations of gold along a regionally important gravity high between areas of prolific gold mineralization. NGE believes that the next phase of work at Kelly Creek should focus on completing a detailed air magnetic geophysical survey over the project area to further delineate high-angle structures, to separate areas of shallow volcanic rocks from shallow sedimentary rocks, and to identify deeper underlying intrusive rocks. Areas of hydrothermal alteration might also be indicated.
After an air magnetic survey, the next phase would be vertical, mud rotary and/or reverse circulation drilling to complete several wide-spaced drill holes across the area to confirm depth to bedrock, type of bedrock, type and extent of hydrothermal alteration, and character of bedrock geochemistry.
